Declare His glory among the nations,
His marvelous deeds among all peoples.

GOOD MORNING!!!

Bonjour...
Because some of you are checking back here several times a day, just wanted to say good morning. We're getting ready to head out to the local market...then back for lunch before we head to the orphanage. We're unable to take cameras to either place, so I'll try to get some of the students pics when we get back so you can see your lovely children's faces.

Linda...Harry has been leaning over the computer every day waiting in anticipation of your saying hello!!!

All of the kids have been crowding around the computer each time I sit here in hopes of hearing from home. They are LOVING all your comments! Thanks for making their mornings!

Love to each of you from way over here...we miss you, but are thoroughly enjoying each experience. The girls have begun to voice a little apprehension over spending 4 nights in the village....sans tents and bathrooms. All will be well and we will possibly be better for having had the experience!

Last night we sat around and talked over how the experience in the village was affecting us. The students opened up their hearts and you should know they are changing...they are seeing the hand of God working. But, they're also seeing how blessed each one of them are. We have so much...and seem to always want more. These children have so little...and seem to want for nothing.

Thanks for your continued prayers and support....love to each of you on the other side of this screen! Back later to tell you about our day!!!

I woke up praising Jesus that 90 new souls are entering heaven someday!!! What an amazing experience for all of you to see God at work right in front of your eyes. The tears are still coming...good tears :) Leah (and girls), we are praying that this experience in the bush will draw you even closer to HIM. God has you there for a reason...His purpose.
Dad and I are headed into Philly with Pastor Carl, Patty and Doreen today. They've never seen historic Philly so off to the Liberty Bell, Constitution Center, etc. for us. Looking forward to it! We'll probably stop by the US MInt and Reading Terminal, too. Leah, you are missed and loved very much! Cannot WAIT to hear how God is working in your life! Buddy licked your picture this morning. You are definitely on the top of his love list! Take pictures when you can, bring back a souvenior or 2 and take those malaria pill :) Hope you enjoyed the new Karen K books! Love you and love to all of the team!

Bonjour Africa TEAM!!!

We have been praying for you and trust that you had an AMAZING day ministering to the people there. I am sure your "shopping" experience took on a new dimension..something totally different than Park City or Sharp Shopper!!

We're sure that God is at work in everyone's hearts and lives as you spent time at the orphanage as well. Embrace what God is saying to you through it.

Nathan...Frank was asking about you and I gave him the blog address...we haven't seen Ryan,Andy, or Joey...but your dad talked with Sean on the phone.

Finally have hot water again. YEAH! Rob Sprowl came over and put in a new hot water tank so when you come home you will be able to take a hot shower not a cold one! :-)

We miss you and love you! Hugs to all!

Good morning - or I think it's afternoon for you! Jared, you will be amused to know that I now eat my cereal in front of the computer while reading this blog and emails from friends and family who are eager to hear how you and Halle are doing. I'm pretty sure I don't splatter as much milk as you do, though.... Halle, you will be glad to know that I survived 3 graduation parties over the weekend...you know it's hard for me to be so socal ...:) Your friends were glad to hear that you had arrived safely. Also picked up your work schedule yesterday. Will continue praying for all of you - you are always close in my thoughts. XXXXOOOO

I have been praying for you all everyday and trust that God will not only change the people of Africa, but also work in the lives of each of you! Jared - praying specifically that you are sleeping well - as a request of your mom and Leah - praying that you are holding up well in the bush - I know it is out of your comfort zone. Hey Ya'll! I'm so glad that ya'll are doing well over there. Girls, you're gonna love the whole camping experience thing. One word of advice, if you ever have to go the the restroom squat style...make sure your pants are well out of the way. Trust me! (sorry for being graphic but it's true!)
I'm proud of all of you and I can't wait to see how God is working through ya'lls lives. Keep it up ya'll!
